ABOUT ABOUT

Considering the economic importance of tourism for the Erie region, specifically for many of our local businesses, we need to better understand the increasing seasonal changes to our weather, and the current and future effects on tourism, in order to prepare and adapt. Join us on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 to learn why weather is critical to our tourism industry, how changes in our climate will affect your business, and how our tourism industry can be more proactive, as we experience increasing intense storm events and more severe seasonal temperatures.

Guest speakers include: John Oliver, Visit Erie Executive Director; Megan Goold, US EPA Region 3 Climate Change Coordinator; Nate Irwin, PA DEP Aquatic Biologist; and Jerry Skrypzak, President of S.O.N.S (Save Our Native Species)

Doors open at 7:30 am to sign in
Discussion starts at 8 am

*Breakfast will be provided
